HOW WE CLEAN YOUR VENTS

A Professional Guide

1. LOCATE

We locate best access to hook up our hoses from the truck to your Furnace. We bring in all equipment needed to do the job.

2. MAXIMUM SUCTION

We will then turn off your heating or cooling but run the blower fan to help locate all cold air returns and to help us get maximum suction once we hook up and activate our vacuum system.

3. FARTHEST POINT

We will bring in our air hose to go to the farthest point of where we will start the process.

4. COVER ALL COLD AIR REGISTERS

We will locate all cold air registers covering them so no dirt escapes when being cleaned.

5. HOOK ON AT FURNACE FILTER

Once we activate by hooking on as close to the furnace filter as possible we will then proceed to the furthest vent to start.

6. SEE THE DIFFERENCE

We will remove the vent cover to take pictures to show you what is inside, and also to show us the direction in which to whip out your vents down to furnace. Once it's done we will show you the difference with another picture. Once that is done we then replace the vent cover re-cover it and move to next one and repeat the same process there.

7. GIVE THOSE VENTS A WHIP!

Once we are back in basement we will forward whip and back whip your cold air return plenums right down to the furnace filter.

8. DIRTY FILTER

We will then remove the filter to show you what got down to it and what may have got by the vacuum, if anything, but the filter will be extremely dirty.

9. CLEAN PARTS OF THE FURNACE

We then remove the door on furnace so we can clean out the furnace boot, where the filter was. Plus, we will proceed to clean the blower fan and its blades, so that they can push the air better to the homes furthest points. If the burner section is open and accessible we will clean it to help burn blue instead of orange or yellow so it will be more efficient.

10. PLUG AND BLOW

As we are doing that we (one of the cleaners) will plug and seal and holes made to do the cleaning process. Once that is done, we locate and cover all hot air returns and proceed to the furthest point to start the cleaning process all over again - except this time, instead of whipping out your ventilation like we did with cold air intakes, we blow air in them. The reason is simple, your outtake hot air returns have dampers in them which control the air flow for the home so it is as close to evenly distributed for heating and cooling of your homes rooms.

11. WHIP THOSE OUTTAKE PLENUMS

Once we get back to basement we will forward whip and back whip your out take plenums to furnace.

12. WHIP THE AIR CONDITIONING COIL

Next, whip out your air conditioning coil in order to remove any and all restrictions.

13. SMELL THE DIFFERENCE

We will install new furnace filter if you have one, spray it with disinfected spray, close up the furnace, close up all holes with plugs and steel plates, restart the furnace so you can see and smell the difference.

14. DRYER VENT

We will then proceed to clean out your dryer vent from the outside which will look like a snowstorm coming out your home.
